stress free.

After 4 years of NY & 2 crazy jobs, I understand stress. intensity. and just got used to it. I made peace with the fact that it was how adult-life worked.

Until now.

I've been at new job for a month. Granted, I still don't really know what I'm doing, but in the last month, I've felt approximately 10 minutes of stress. 10 minutes of awkward work stress, not even difficult stress.
and the people I work with genuinely like their jobs. its refreshing.

If this new life means I get to work 45 low stress hours a week with summer fridays (and still get paid), plus time to work out, time to cook, I might be in love.

if i didnt live in the city (and loove it), it would look like this..

though still fully addicted to wine. all is well.

its a really odd feeling to realize that you have zero stress in your life. i used to be semi-crazed all the time. its nice to relax.

Brand Spankin New

I've been living my new crazy life for like 48 hours. I've been in Boston for 4 days. Just in time for the Pats to lose to the Jets (AWFUL) and a few snowstorms. I picked a terrible time to move North.
regardless.. i'm loving it so far. my apt is amazing. bigger and far more wonderful than 6C.

I have lofty goals for this new life:
LOTS more cooking
read books
light candles
do yoga
half marathon
get comfortable at the new job
try lots of new fun restaurants
go skydiving (dont tell my parents)

big changes for 2011.  
new year, new life.  cant wait!

Happiness hit her like a train on a track. Coming towards her stuck still no turning back

so i paused on blogging. im back. with NEWS!   i got a job. and an apt. and i'm moving to Boston on Jan 15. crazyyy soon.
i'm really excited.  and nervous.  and will miss my friends in NY
yes. this is the right next step, but scary for sure.

tonight chrissy and i got pedicures, made dinner, and had wine on the couch. it was great.
and she went home. and i replayed all we talked about. my move, our friends, our life goals from 2007, our new 5 year life plans, etc.  amazing.
